Guava Jam Recipe

This guava jam is made with fresh guavas, sugar, and a touch of lime juice. It is a delicious and versatile condiment that can be used in a variety of ways.

  1. In a large pot, combine the guavas, sugar, lime juice, lime zest, and salt.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the guavas are softened and the mixture has thickened.
  3. Stir occasionally to prevent the jam from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
  4. Once the jam has thickened, remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  5. Strain the jam through a strainer to remove any seeds.
  6. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
  7. Let cool completely before storing.
